Each sign begins with a 19x11-inch solid Aspen panel, chosen for its beautiful grain patterns and long‑lasting strength. It’s paired with a Rustic Alder frame, adding warmth and character that complements the natural look of the wood. Every piece is shaped, carved, and finished by hand, giving it the authentic, heirloom-quality feel that defines our work.
The centerpiece of the sign features a precision‑carved lake outline, filled with rich blue resin to highlight the winding shoreline. Customers can choose from multiple Ozarks-area lakes, making each plaque a meaningful connection to the waters they love most.
Interchangeable Inserts — Update Your Sign Anytime
To make the piece truly personal, the design includes three customizable insert areas:
One 6x4-inch insert — perfect for a photo, coordinates, a family name, or a special message
Two 6x2.5-inch inserts — ideal for dates, quotes, cabin names, or other meaningful details
Each insert is crafted as a replaceable panel, allowing updates or changes in the future without replacing the entire sign.
The entire piece is finished with Tung oil, which enhances the natural beauty of the wood while providing a durable, rustic sheen that stands up to everyday life.

If you’d like, you can swap the standard 6x4 insert for a laser‑etched 6x4 photo insert for an additional $15. This is a replacement of the standard insert.
The 6x2.5 inserts can include:

Or one image from our insert gallery with up to two lines of text beside it, as long as everything fits comfortably.
Before anything is finalized, you’ll receive a preview image that shows what the finished inserts will look like. You’ll also receive a picture of the completed product before payment and shipping.
